Here is an interesting video I saw of Tai Situ Rinpoche, about how to set a good motivation so you can start your day right and knowing what to do and how to keep it going. I think having a good motivation at the beginning of the day really has a strong effect on the rest of the day. I’ve noticed when I havn’t been clear on this, the rest of my day seems pretty accidental. Maybe it goes well, maybe it goes to crap, but things seem accidental and I’m just haphazardly stumbling on things. Having a clear motivation, I think this is excellent advice on how to have a good day.
I thought this was reasonably good advice, and Tai Situ Rinpoche speaks to both buddhists and non buddhists alike on how to start a day.
