Tai Situ Rinpoche, the describes the 6 paramitas as such:
Six invaluable qualities unfold and manifest from within the minds of disciples of the Buddhadharma who pursue and practice the teachings that Lord Buddha presented with joy and diligence. The six invaluable qualities are known as “the six paramitas,”
In this second video in this series, Ringu Tulku talks about the paramita of ethics. He says that this paramita is easier to do if one has some experience in the paramita of generosity. He says that the two are related in that in the paramita of generousity, one is learning to give things away, where as in ethics, one is learning to give up or relinquish harming oneself and others.
