The FPMT has been offering the Basic program for many years, allowing people to study subjects like the Heart Sutra, the Tenent Systems, Shantideva’s Bodhisattva’s Way of Life, and many other topics that play a central role to the study of the theory found in Tibetan Buddhism.

As of February 2014, the course will now be available to studied from home through an online study program done at Nalanda Monastery in France.

Study While Immersed in Everday Life

Nalanda Monastery in France will not be allowing people to take the course from home, giving an opportunity for in depth study for those that live busy lives that involve work and family.

The course involves commitment to studying 10-15 hours a week, an opportunity for people to take the course without having to be a residential participant.
