Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Founders of the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT)

In this interesting article, Adele Hulse explains where the Foundation for the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT) received its name. Lama Yeshe was noted as saying:

I want to preserve the Mahayana teachings. If you can’t get the name right, you don’t know what I’m doing.
